Raum selbst hat keine Form. Doch hat jede seiner Affären eine. Diese sind so zahlreich wie umfassend. Denn alles, was zu tun (à faire) ist und überhaupt getan werden kann, muss im und mit dem Raum getan werden, ist mithin stets eine Affäre des Raumes. Zugleich ist alles, was zu tun ist, mit Dingen zu tun. Affären des Raumes sind allesamt Affären mit den Dingen.Space itself has no form. Yet each of its affairs has one. These are as numerous as they are comprehensive. For everything that has to be done (à faire), and can actually be done, has to be done in and with space and, thus, is always an affair of space. At the same time, everything that has to be done has to do with things. Affairs of space are all affairs with things.
