Marcello Gisondi

Marcello Gisondi is postdoctoral researcher at the Laboratorio di Studi Civili (LSC) of the University of Lugano (USI). His studies focus on the history of Italian philosophy, on natural law and political philosophy. He studied philosophy at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and graduated at the University of Naples Federico II, where he also earned his Ph.D. with a thesis on Antonio Banfi’s thought. His current research in political theory focuses on populism in European democracies.
