In der Diskussion um die ästhetische Integration paratextueller Elemente geht diese Arbeit von der Vorraussetzung aus, dass der Paratext die ästhetische Bedingung der künstlerischen Werke teilt, zu denen er gehört. In verschiedenen Interpretationssituationen hat der Paratext die Funktion nicht nur einen Kontext der Disambiguierung zu schaffen, sondern auch einen ästhetischen Kontext. Ein Referenzmodus, dessen Natur sich von derjenigen, die von der Verbindung Text – repräsentierte Welt impliziert wird, entwickelt sich in der Beziehung von Text und Paratext. Die neue binäre Struktur betont eine Poetik des Randdiskurses, der theoretisch in seine pragmatischen, semantischen und syntaktischen Dimensionen "unterteilt" werden kann, wie sie in der Theorie von Charles Morris beschrieben werden. Die Beziehung von paratextuellen Elementen und der fiktionalen Welt wird zum Kern dieser Poetik, während der gesamte paratextuelle Code die Rolle eines Merkmals ästhetischer Individualisierung jeglicher künstlerischer Arbeit einnimmt.In discussing the aesthetic integration of paratextual elements, the paper starts from the premise that paratext shares the aesthetic condition of the artistic works it is part of. In various situations of interpretation, paratext has the function of creating not only a context of disambiguation, but also an aesthetic context. A mode of reference whose nature is different from the one implied by the connection text – represented world develops in the relation between text and paratext. The new binary structure emphasizes a poetics of the marginal discourse which can be theoretically 'subdivided" into its pragmatic, semantic and syntactic dimensions, as they are described in the theory of Charles Morris. The relation between paratextual elements and the fictional world becomes the nucleus of this poetics, while the whole paratextual code plays the role of a mark of the aesthetic individualization of any artistic work.
