A "psychedelic method"

Albert L. Refiti

pp. 27-33

To undertake research on customary Samoan knowledge of space and architecture from the perspective of a Samoan architect or spatial designer requires a rethinking of methodology. As I am about to draw together my research to write up my PhD, I put together the materials and sources on Samoan culture that I have revisited and reviewed to generate an alternative narrative of Samoan notions of space and the architecture of the traditional faletele (meeting house).
