(2013) On the death of the pilgrim, Dordrecht, Springer.
This chapter provides the conclusion for the previous six chapters. It summarizes the terrain covered and suggests that Mehta's philosophy is one that has gone unrecognized for too long. Indeed, insofar as many scholars of Indian traditions call for a rigorous engagement with indigenous forms of thought and practice and yet do not mention any particular thinkers by name, it would appear that the time is right for a sustained, dialogical engagement with Jarava Lal Mehta, a voice clearly capable of speaking for a Hinduism today.
