Active interfaces to facilitate network based Cooperative work

Roose Philippe , Dalmau Marc , Aniorté Philippe

pp. 102-116

This paper proposes to extend the concept of activity used in Active DataBases (ADB) to the interface domain. The objective is to obtain interfaces adapted to distributed functionalities and, as in cooperative work, a high autonomy is needed for them. Using our experience in the Active DB domain, we propose to transpose these concepts to interfaces in a cooperative environment using a network (intranet).
