(1977) The posthumous life of Plato, Dordrecht, Springer.
Plato was introduced into national literature most reliably by translations, and this was the case already in the Renaissance of the 16th century. Today there is no civilised language, in which it is not possible to read at least some, if not all, of Plato's dialogues.
